Description
Career opportunity with top notch benefits! The BASS team is seeking Direct Hire Fiberglass Laminator candidates for our local client! Join a team where you will help build world class boats! Great schedule too: Monday thru Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; or work 4 days per week, 6:00am-4:30pm!

Some duties include:
-Lamination of fiberglass in molds to create decks, hulls, and other parts
-Preparing fiberglass parts for assembly, including grinding, repairing, and cleaning
-Application of gelcoat
-Laminate and gelcoat touchups, including color matching
Requirements
Qualifications
-Gelcoat/Lamination experience is desired
-Autobody Repair experience is desired
-Knowledge of tools, including jig saw, router, band saw, grinders, buffer, skill saw, drill, vacuum pump, dremel, tape measure, hand saw, and scale rule.

Some duties include:
-Perform basic joinery, carpentry tasks on and off boats, following simple plans, blueprints, or patterns under close supervision of a team leader or supervisor.
-Layout, cut and assemble boat parts, such as doors, paneling, boxes, rails, and trim.
-Installs prefabricated/custom parts such as hatches, marine hardware, metal trim, seats and other parts.
-May be required to use epoxies and vinylester resins or other adhesives to bond parts together.

Qualifications
-Previous Carpentry/Woodworking experience
-Coursework in wood- and/or metal-working a plus
-Ability to read blueprints and scaled drawings
- Knowledge and operation of tape measure, square, hand saw, hand plane, table saw, and chop saw, planer, joiner, router, band saw, shaper, surface sander.

Some duties include:
-Perform complex mechanical repairs and installs.
-Work on all boat systems, including: Hamilton water jets; engines by Yanmar, CAT, VolvoPenta, Cummins or FPT
-Working on onboard plumbing systems; hydraulics system installations
-Troubleshooting and repairs

Qualifications
-Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience and the ability to install complete mechanical systems
-Proficient in diagnosis of diesel engine repair
-Marine experience preferred
-Some knowledge of HVAC is preferred.
- Ability to write condition reports on boats, prepare actual estimates and plan projects through to completion
- Must have a valid driver’s license

Fuel your passion for hands-on work and precision at our clients Bangor facility! We're seeking dedicated a Production Employee to join their positive team. You will be assisting in fabricating materials and assembling those with electronic components to build their products in a collaborative environment.

This is a direct-hire opportunity with a great schedule of Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. Summer early-out on Fridays available and possible options for a 4-day work week.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble parts to produce high-quality electronics products
Perform electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering and use of hand tools
Read and interpret data from measuring instruments, blue prints
Learn various aspects of production operations
Requirements
-Experience with hand tools preferred, or willingness to learn
-Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn
-Wants to learn! Flexibility to cross-train and work in different production areas
-Troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability
-Quick learner with a positive focus
-Capability to lift and move materials within the facility (up to 30 to 50 lbs)
