Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our Client's team in this Full-time, Contract to Hire opening. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.
Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to finish, and one hour on Saturday or Sunday. A driver's license is required to travel between locations - travel time is compensated
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping and using a backpack vacuum.
Carry out custodial tasks including trash removal, surface cleaning, and restroom sanitation.
Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing all cleaning tasks.
$18/hr., with an additional $1 an hour attendance bonus!
Requirements
Previous janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.
Must meet background check requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently.
Ability to work independently.
Good physical stamina; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, bend, reach, grasp, crouch, and use a backpack vacuum.
High school diploma or equivalent; mature work ethic; two employment references
