Project Manager - Remodel/Restoration in Hampden, ME 04444
Description
BASS is recruiting for an Project Manager for our client, a Maine owned restoration business. Applicants bring the ability to estimate remodel/restoration/cleaning jobs; the manage those projects through completion.

This Direct Hire opportunity has a typical schedule is Monday thru Friday 6:30 am-4pm, while being part of the team alternating the on-call schedule nights and weekends for emergency projects. Yearly salary based on experience with commission opportunity! Our client offers benefits to include health insurance, etc.

Some of the key responsibilities:
-Coordinate and manage crews on the jobsites to ensure quality completion of the work in a timely manner
-Coordinate subcontractors; ensure their paperwork accurate and current throughout a job
-Coordinate with the Project Coordinator on collection of all funds
-Inspect job sites, prepare accurate job estimates and negotiate with potential clients. Document all information including notes, photos, signed authorizations, etc.
-Provide excellent customer service while working with the customers, insurance companies, mortgage companies, realtors, TPAs., etc.
Requirements
- Proven knowledge/experience in remodeling/construction projects.
- Familiarity with estimating, blueprints, schematics, and construction documentation.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Supervisory skills to led teams to ensure quality work and projects meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient math skills in regards to estimates, expenses and job costing
- High school diploma or equivalent
-Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary service
-Good computer knowledge, Xactimate experience a plus
-Must possess driver's license with clean driving record

Quality Assurance Inspector - Manufacturing in Bangor, ME 04401
Description
BASS is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Inspector (QAI), Direct Hire, for our manufacturing client who fabricates and assembles electronic components to produce world class products. Our client is willing to train candidates seeking a career with mechanical inclination and good attention to detail.

This position offers a full benefit package with a great schedule of Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm. Ideal candidates will bring QA experience and/or manufacturing experience (with a preference in electronics). Experience in continuous improvement with a history of troubleshooting issues and previous manufacturing experience.

Some of the primary tasks to include:

· Electrical, Mechanical, and Visual Inspection of items used and manufactured;

· Input data of inspection results and generate reports;

· Auditing of work in progress by checking conformance to documentation;

· Monitor the status and calibration of tools and/or equipment;.

· Responsible for recognizing potential problems and escalating these.
Requirements
Qualifications:

Be able to troubleshoot and provide solutions to problems;

Have the ability to read and understand blueprints, ECR's, Standard Operating Procedures, Workmanship Standards, parts lists, drawings and DWA's;

Have attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team.

Ideally have previous experience within a similar role; yet not required

ISO Internal auditor training a plus.

Some heavy lifting; Regular carrying and lifting of goods up to 30lb; Pushing/Pulling requirements; movement of material; bending; sitting; standing; reaching.

Weatherization Technical Specialist in Augusta, ME
Description
Full-time, Monday through Friday, DIRECT HIRE!

We are seeking a skilled Weatherization Technical Specialist to join our Client's team. Position is responsible for performing field inspections of work completed under the weatherization program. Duties include providing mentoring to Community Action Agencies (CAA) working in the program, reviewing energy audits and weatherization recommendations and inspecting weatherization installations to ensure compliance of program rules and regulations.

Education/Experience: Education and two years of experience in energy audits, weatherization, insulation, and HVAC or a combination of four years of experience, training and independent study preferred.

Certifications/Licenses: Building Performance Institute Quality Control Inspector (QCI) Certification and a valid driver's license or the ability to reach off-site homes and meetings as needed (may consider a certified energy auditor as long as the QCI is obtained within six months of hire).

Working Conditions: Work is performed 30% in the office and 70% in the field and statewide travel is required. Out of state travel is required to attend professional conferences or trainings. Physical requirements include the ability to wear a fit-tested respirator, lift carpenter tools and heavy electronic equipment, climb ladders, crawl in and out of structures etc. A company car will be provided.

Pay: $20.48 per hour
