Part-time Marketing/Sales position; excellent opportunity to gain experience! Position assists in developing and implementing sales and marketing activities to support the Organization's revenue goals. Maximizing enrollment in the Organization's Summer Programs and other Events through direct and indirect marketing is one of the position's goals. Duties may include:
Plan, coordinate and execute details of marketing communications projects that generate enrollment
Work with the Marketing Dir.and Events Mgr. on the rapid development of effective marketing activities
Create/update content for websites, social media, printed media, radio and email communications
Create/distribute printed material by mail and in-person
Make phone calls to target audiences
Coordinate and monitor project and event timelines
Work with Events Mgr. to identify and supply newsworthy media relations stories
Develop regular reports as needed on marketing and outreach activities
Build current contact lists
Represent Organization at applicable expo's, conferences, fairs and other gatherings
Provide excellent customer service
Bachelor's degree preferred; 1-2 years equivalent marketing/sales and/or event exp. considered. Excellent communication and organizational skills is necessary; strong writing, proof-reading and speaking abilities required. Travel is required, along with flexibility. Experience with Adobe Suite is preferred. Position will last until May, 2018.
