Paint Shop Counter Help - Part-Time in Bangor, Maine
Description
Bangor, ME - BASS is recruiting for our paint store client a Counter - Sales Associate. A great position for someone supplementing their income or semi-retired. Typical shift is two days a week 8-5 but more occasionally.

You will provide exceptional customer service assisting customers (retail, contractors, etc.) in selecting their paint and promote related products in store, via phone or internet. Knowledge of paint and its application is helpful yet willing to train the right person. Ideal for those who enjoy developing relationships with a variety of customers and being part of a team. You will tint and mix paint, merchandise inventory, and assist management in the daily operation of the business. Occasional forklift use.

Successful candidates will have excellent customer services and people skills and a team player.

Requirements
Excellent work ethic with at least two good employment references. Previous sales - customer service experience preferred. Valid driver's license.

Retail General Manager in Bar Harbor! in Bar Harbor, Maine
Description
Exciting Opportunity! Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Retail General Manager to run a busy establishment selling gifts, apparel, and souvenirs. The ideal candidate will lead by example, working shoulder to shoulder with their team to ensure customers receive friendly service in a well stocked store and ensure a teamwork atmosphere is created. The GM will manage daily operations with duties to include: learning all aspects of the business, training of staff members, ensuring accurate management of funds, tracking inventory, maintaining a clean environment, making sure all policies are being followed and scheduling

This is a Direct Hire position (hired directly by client). Earn a yearly salary yet only work April 15 through November 15 each year with great pay (based on experience). FREE housing provided if needed.

Requirements
Excellent customer service and people skills

Previous Management experience, retail clothing preferred.

Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, holiday shifts

The ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must be able to meet and/or exceed customer expectations

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 lbs.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
