Assembler in Bangor, Maine
Bangor, ME - We have an immediate opening for a full-time Assembler for our busy client. You will work as a team to perform electronic or electro-mechanical assembly for a transmitter manufacturing company. You will also assist in the fabricating by sanding and ensuring plating process completed. Candidates should be able read assembly blue prints and follow direction well. The client is willing to train candidates on specific task who have previous experience in manufacturing and/or assembly/fabrication.

Pay is $11/Hour. Currently in summer hours: Mon-Thurs 6am to 3:30pm, Fri: 7am-11am.

Prefer candidates with fabricating/assembly experience yet willing to train with some background in industry. Soldering and PC Board assembly experience a plus. Should be able to use measuring tools and able to read minor blueprints. Teamwork oriented, must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, previous manufacturing environment experience.

Must be able to work on "first piece" assemblies originating from new designs.

Be able to reach, stand for long periods, bend down to a full squat, kneel and grasp. Lift up to 50lbs.

Will be required to provide own steel-toed footwear.

Education Requirements: Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.

Maintenance Supervisor in Old Town, Maine
Old Town, ME- Bangor Area Staffing Solutions is recruiting for our client a Full-time Plant Maintenance Supervisor.  The right candidate will monitor, maintain, and supervise equipment and facility maintenance operations. Some of the duties will be ordering parts, scheduling of repairs and a preventive maintenance program. Candidates must have maintenance and supervisory experience to be considered. Master or Journeyman Electrician preferred yet not required.

Pay will be based on level of experience.
~Have sound technical knowledge of all machines and equipment used in the facility. (Bakery a plus)
~Should have ability to identify problems with the electronic systems and carry out their maintenance.
~Basic knowledge of the heating, refrigeration, welding, plumbing, and other electrical (preferred licensed) and carpentry work.
~Computer knowledge
~Supervisory experience
~Ability to read and understand construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
~Organize, implement, and direct maintenance operations and activities.
~Perform the most complex maintenance duties.
~Communicate clearly and concisely, both oral and written.

Excellent work ethic and leadership experience.
Knowledge of both AC and DC power, three phase motors and wiring, AC and DC drives, PLC troubleshooting and/or programming experience, pneumatic troubleshooting experience, welding skills, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Work references must be provided.

Must pass background checks.
